Not related to the graphics card, but check with that motherboard that the bios can be updated with the cpu in it so that it will run the cpu. I made that mistake with a gigabyte board recently for a build for work. I installed the new cpu not realising it needed a bios update to work. Had to take the cpu and cooler out, take the 2600x out my home system and put that in (cleaning off the thermal paste on both cpu's, applying new paste each time etc) then update the bios, then 2600x back out and new cpu back in again with new thermal paste. A massive ball ache. If I didn't have the 2600x at home to use I would have had to send the mobo to the manufacturer to update the bios.
