Hey there,

I put together a specification a few weeks ago, but now im interested what you guys can do with my budget.

I have about £500 +/- 10% either way as my budget, and would like to use the computer to play some games, Battlefield 2, Counterstrike Source, and also to watch DVD's and TV. I need sufficient harddrive space for the average person, CD Drive, etc.

What can you do for £500? :D I'm interested to see.

Also - just a quick note: I don't need a monitor, keyboard or mouse just yet :)

Many thanks,
Mr Yule.

This is at the lower end of your budget but offers a decent system which could be upgraded pretty easily.

Hi Ross

Semi-pro waster's spec is excellent and I doubt you'll get much better for the price. All I would do if you wanted to hit the budget point would be to change the motherboard for a slightly better one such as a P35-DS3P or a Abit IP35. Alternatively adding a 3rd party cooler and some MX-2 if you wished to overclock.
