Condemned 2:Bloodshot... more info

IGN have reviewed it!

8.0...

Edit: As expected its hard to better a game like Condemned 1, and according to that review it doesn't. Looks like they've added a small sprinkling of guns to the game...I hope ammo is scarce. The scare+immersion factor thanks to the superb audio is still there, yay! :D

So many good games coming out, or have come out, at the minute, Devil May Cry 4, Bully, Army of Two, Condemned 2, Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

Not enough time to play them all!

Is the majority of this game fighting or puzzle solving and how complicated are the puzzle solving?? I'm liking the look of this.

But like kyle009 says to many games and not enough time to play them

Think ill pick up first one before getting this

It's one of a handful of games that I'm eager to play for 2008 and have waited for ages to see it.

But I won't be getting it release day as I wanna hear feedback first. The first was by far the best horror game I've ever played, and if this game isn't the same or better than it's just gonna but a damper on a good memory.

But if you've never played the original yaboy, it's a definate purchase, you literally gotta experience the game, playing it on a night in the dark. Utterly fantastic.

What are puzzles like to solve and the investigation stuff.. Like the look of it but not really into MASSIVE problem solving stuff do enough of that at work :p

Don't mind the odd few mind......

That's the major disappointment to be honest. The major complaint about the first game was lack of puzzle-solving as you'd arrive at a crime scene and the X button would pull out the appropriate 'tool' to do the job. It would have been far better for you to think which one to use - zoom in with microscope for clues, take DNA for matching, spectrum analyser for other bodily fluids.

So it's an easy puzzle game as it's totally linear, but finding the 'extra' like the TV's, birds and bits of metal is a nice challenge.

Ah right sounds like my sort of dumbed down game then. Thats another game on pre order then

The finding the birds/tv bits were fun because whilst you're searching for the buggering items, you never know who might clout you over the head with an iron bar :D~

I'm not too happy about firearms being in the game though...that's one feature that made the first so enjoyable. Yes there were guns but ammo was massively limited.

just got condemned last monday and it's ace I only had monday night playing it in the dark and the hairs on your neck stand on end especially when you hear people muttering in the background. Shame I've only got 1 optical in in my surround sound as I have 3 devices my PVR, 360 and PS3 :(

I'm sure it would sound even better with the surround sound going :D

Love the swearing in it when you hit the guys it's ACE!

Can't wait to play it again tonight. Lights out and volume up hehe.

Edge magazine only gave it 5?

The entire review team are a set of masturbators anyway so I really wouldn't worry about ANY review from them.

They 'attempt' to be the Simon Cowell of the review world but end up looking like lady bits.
