I didn't know it used the Fear engine. I enjoyed it a lot on the Xbox, and will get it for the pc at some point. The second title was also pretty good, though imo not quite as good as the first. Still, shame the second isn't available for the pc.

Yeah seems really bizarre for the sequel to be on XB360 but not PC, given Monolith have a PC heritage and the fact that subsequent titles in the FEAR series all came out on PC. I guess maybe it sold really badly on PC so the publisher pulled the plug? I've gotta say, although I was vaguely aware of the game on release I never really paid it much attention, only got it because it was free from Dixons Downloads a few years later.
Yeah, I guess with it being a launch title for the 360, it sold very small amounts on PC. I'm still waiting for it to appear on Steam. That will give it somewhat of a boost, I'm sure as it's very difficult to get hold of.

From what I can remember, there are no differences in the PC version's graphics and the control system is better with a gamepad (not supported on PC).
But I'll still pick it up. But waiting for 75% off at Christmas.
It was the first 360 title I played on launch day and one of the best horror games I have played to this day. There are so many moments where you will jump.
Look forward to playing it again, on the PC this time. Hardly doubt there are any differences though as the PC version was a port iirc.

Holy thread revival Batman! Teki187 that's a name I remember from ages ago, anyway I bought this on the Steam Halloween sale and I'm really eager to give it a go, I remember when it was released everyone kept telling me to get it, hope it's better now than never kinda thing lol.
