Forgive me fellow over clockers for I have sinned.
I confess to the pre-meditated murder of my keyboard and the slaughtering of my spare keyboard.
I finished the lighting in my case and decided i'd put blue LEDs in my keyboard to give it a blue glow underneith and under the keys.
I planned everything, how I'd undo the screws... drill a few holes... use a soldering iron...
It wasn't meant to go wrong... I wanted my frankenstien....
Everything was supposed to go to plan an it'd all be ok...
But alas, I accidentally dripped a drop of superglue on the plastick keyboard membrain where the membrain clamps onto the PCB and didn't notice... when I re-assembled the keyboard didn't work... the lights worked purfectly though!
When I un-did everything to re-seat the connector... I ripped it...
In a blind panic I grabbed my spare keyboard to take the membrain out for a transplant but alas... it never regained life...
On a happy note.... I now have a wireless keyboard and mouse.....
