Configure Audio Streams

Hi Guys,

Recently I have connected my pc to the living room TV and I am wondering if it is possible to play games and have the sound for those coming out my speakers/headset only and the movie stream only coming from the TV.

The TV is connected using HDMI and my monitor is using DVI. The speakers and headphones on my pc use the onboard jacks (realtek hd audio).

Im using an AMD Radeon 6950 which is controlling both displays.

Also using windows 7.

Any help on setting this up would be awesome.

You could try setting the media player to use the AMD audio (if media player allows it) while the default audio for the computer is set to Realtek.

Or you can use VB-Audio Voicemeeter to control audio routing. You'll likely need a Youtube/etc guide to configure it to your needs.
