Just got Oblivion. Just wondered if the fps im getting is about right for my system?
indoors (ie at the start sewers etc) i get between 40 - 60 fps at 1440 x900 widescreen HDR most settings on high except for shadows. Changed the grass texture thing from 80 to 160 in the .ini file as well.
Outside i get from about 20 - 60 fps depending on the clutter around me i think. But it looks ******* gorgeous!! How do i take screenshots?? ctrl and printscreen?? Looks better than the xbox360 version i used to have albeit i played that on a normal tv screen
So no real problems but the fps does seem weirdly unstable at times i.e. look at wall im getting 60 fps then i turn around and look somewhere else and it drops like 20 fps.
If i run it at higher native resolution with similar or slightly reduced settings i maybe lose about 5- 10 fps but its not totally unplayable either
Also planning on adding quite a few mods as im always keen on modding games.
The list of mods i have downloaded(but not installed yet) is as follows, possible conflicts you reckon?

One thing i hated about the 360 version is how everything levels up with you which is why i want to install either of these 2 mods.
Any other mods you can recommend?
