Why is it that if someone confronted me in public (or in front of friends) I would melt - but if I was on my own I'd be fine? I honestly don't know why. An example of this is, say if someone came up to me to start a fight, on my own I'd be fine but with friends I couldn't handle it? Sometimes I think it's the fact that I don't like being embarrassed, but I honestly don't know. Anyone got any answers because it's driving me insane :p.

But I don't mind messing up in front of mates...ah! It's really weird, nevermind, more beer please!

maybe you're afraid your mates will see a side of you they wont like?

I know that feeling. Im not one for holding back if someone is dead set on pounding my face in, but I have "surprised" friends with my reactions, which they were not expecting.

That is unusual as most people would back down from confrontation when alone rather than in front of people!

I know. That's what I mean. So it's kinda weird for me

Same thing happens to me when Im with people, I feel kinda singled out. On my own I'd just get stuck in

its only normal to be suprised at such a thing, but we are all capable of it heh

i know what u mean, i sometimes get the same thing when a girl comes up to me to, im much more confident if i'm by myself.

I tend to be quite the opposite. Despite being 6'5 I hate being the object of someone else's frustrations in any situation if I'm alone.

If I'm with a bunch of mates though it doesn't really bother me as I know if someone does decide to kick off then they'll all come windmilling in.

Lol, reminds me of that clip :- '..I don't want to see any of that Jackie Chan *******'s.....If you got a set of keys, put 'em in your hand and make 'em count..'

:D

Right,... you and me, outside NOW (but leave the rubber gloves with desmo :p).

I guess the humiliation factor makes it more difficult when getting confronted infront of your friends?
