 3dMark results are lower when i O.C. Asus Turbo GTX 1080 Ti 11GB

I reinstalled the MSI Afterburner now and the same behaving i got, when i hit the voltage (first i unlock it and put kernel mode and third party) or the power slider the voltage shown is 0 (Zero) and the windows start to freeze for seconds, then work 2 sec then again freeze and so on.
I will give up on this GPU. Is useless to ask him!
Cheers!

Well... just to make Psycho Sonny happy i ordered a RTX 2070 Super from oc.
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/kfa2...ddr6-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-0a5-kf.html
I cant fight with his technically arguments, isnt? :D
I just hope this new GPU to have an reference pcb because i ordered a reference waterblock....
Expect now Sonny to come to say "for those money you can buy the other one....." and so on.... :D
Cheers all!

Because some of us are so talkative today... and because Psycho Sonny seems to know everything (but nothing on the problem) and that all the time whats good for him is for everyone, i dare to ask you, all but in particular Sonny, because i am in massive need of an advice:
on my system i have like that:
- 2 fans on front radiator
- 3 fans on upper radiator
- 1 fan bottom case
- 1 fan rear case
For the moment i manage all those fans through a fan hub, more precisely NZXT Fan Hub. Hub what, to be honest, is doing, for 2 yrs already, a good job! Cant complain about!
What i can complain is about their software, NZXT CAM, which sometimes is not so good and do some mess.
On the other hand i have, as MB (bought it brand new, Sonny, having in mind, from the first second, to use it with watercooling custom loop. Actually every part on my rig i bought it brand new, except this GPU, and i dont want to explain why, even this is not fitting with your taste or you dont like it):
https://www.asus.com/uk/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-STRIX-Z270E-GAMING/
This MB have enough slots / connectors for fans, with the mention that have only one connector for high amp fans. And i can use that one for the upper fans (3 fans). But i am afraid to connect the front 2 fans to an usual fan connector of MB, i dont know if the fan wont burn the connector.... way much amps than the connector can give.
Actually this was my main reason to buy the NZXT Fan Hub, 2 yrs ago when i build this rig.
So, Sonny, my friend, what do you think about, may i use one usual connector on the MB for the 2 front fans? May i use, in this way, all the fan connector provided by this MB, for my fans? Would be that better? Or better to stay sticked with that Fan Hub, which use a separated power? What you'd do?
Now, seriously, i would like to hear an opinion and hope nobody (Sonny) offended! :D

Well, i forgot to mention that the front fans are on a spliter (so they are together on same wire) and the upper fans are on a 3 ways splitter as well, so those are on one wire as well. So dont need to use both MB and the hub, i just dont decide if to manage fans through MB hence Asus MB soft or to leave them on that hub.
Cheers!

I use a combination of both
That way I can control all fans on each radiator together
So got 2 x fans for 240mm rad on a splitter on 1 header
And the 360mm x 2 radiators on 2 hubs as not keen on 3 x fans on one header unless it's high amp
Due to fans drawing more power at start up

This 2070S GPU dont have a reference pcb, and...of course is not fitting with reference waterblock... and the O.C.'s dont know any waterblock that fit on this GPU... At the moment of buying i asked O.C. over the phone but they wasnt able to shed a light about....
Nice....
I just ordered from NVidia, straight.... and i will send back this to O.C. Pitty, cause the GPU seems well build and specs are attractive!
But....

Yep, its exactly my feeling now!
But... the sun will come on my street after all. Or i will go to kick his arse and to bring it if not come by itself! :D

l.e. i have no idea why on earth they chose to do a custom pcb when the specs, after all that eforts, are so close... in my opinion is not worth to spend so much time and energy to think, project then to build a custom pcb when the specs after all are pretty the same, +-1%
But... what i do know about.. they are much smarter and hope they know... why...
It will be so funny if the gpu coming straight from Nvidia wont have reference pcb...

There is good part tho: today, first thing i did when i received this GPU been to mount it on PCI-E, as it comes, with air cooling, and then i over clock-it to check if is somethig wrong with my bios or my PSU or something like that. And from the first attempt, it goes no problem at all in 1980 Mhz, monitor it with GPU-Z as well to confirm.
So now i know for sure that was something wrong with the 1080 Ti and not from me. Maybe the vbios or who knows what but....i, with your massive help, we tried everything we could.

Finally i have the GPU (RTX 2070 Super) mounted in rig, with waterblock, 38-43 celsius in games 1440p.
Should i turn off the integrated graphic of CPU (I7-7700k) ?
Cheers!

Wow what a read and what a scumbag your colleague is. I'd go to HR and tell them he touched you inappropriately in the gents.

Ha ha, good one! Really good one!
Well, no, i speak with him as much as he came to me to speak. After 2 days he got guts to come to ask me how is the GPU. And i said to him everything but without being nervous or any offend to him. And he said that to him it worked perfectly. Hmmm... to me as well actually, but without busting.
Is not worth to offend someone more than he offend himself doing what he did!!!!
What a nerve he had....

And how and why did you think to try / check this right now? Maybe im begin paranoic but for me this sounds more like...the seller of mine trying to get "cover".

Considering that i sold it and the new owner confirmed already the problem (on air blower)....and i repeat myself, mine was malfunctioning no matter what cooling system, water or air. So ..yes, i think im not paranoic.
Can you please post a screenshot with yours, that we to be able to see the date as well and something to proof its your(s)?
