Confused about TRIM support

I have a C300 256 Gb which I intend to run at Sata 6 Gbps speed. I am running the Gigabyte EX58-UD5 motherboard and to provide the Sata 6 gbps ports I have a Highpoint 620 Rocket PCI-E card (Marvell 88SE9128).

If I run Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and leave the standard MS AHCI drivers to be used for the Highpoint card will TRIM function correctly by itself?

what is your performance with that card in AS-SSD benchmark?

did you connect in PCI-E v1.0 or v2.0 ?
