My e2180 will only go past 225 FSB (wont boot) when the overclock mode is set to CPU/PCI Sync. So when I push the CPU Frequency up the PCIE frequency goes up too. I only noticed because I set it to Sync by accident and was confused as to why my CPU was clocking so well.

^ thats the bios if it helps.

I have an ASROCK 945G-DVI Matx board - not good I know, but I should atleast be able to get the CPU to clock higher than 225x9 :/
I have pc6400 geil ram too.

Regards!

Yeah Im having problems overclocking this CPU too, Ive got the same ram but 4GB. I tried in the BIOS (No Luck) and I tried the abit UGuru, but everytime I did that the PC would just freeze.

I'm just about to buy a new GFX and I don't want to buy a CPU just because it wont overclock to match up to the other components.

for starters, that chip has a native multiplier of 10, so that's another 225Mhz you can reach easily :)

Still, that's only a ~400mhz overclock..

What volts are you pushing through the vcore/mch/fsb?
