Confused here, nVidia drivers?

Hi Guys

Im told, 169's are latest nVidia drivers. But on their website I only see 163? Is there a big difference between the two?

Betas are 169. Nvidia have always had two driver sets from as far back as I can remember, the beta drivers may, by implication, be a little unstable or have bugs affecting certain games as they aren't as fully tested at this point as a full release. What is your graphics card? Some graphics card series will have been stopped development or perhaps I should say they are no longer being optomised for. Beyond that I can't help, I haven't updated my drivers in a good couple of years due to not needing to but I'm sure someone else can give advice.

My card is a 8800GTS 320mb. Don't know if that helps?

In that case as the card is still from the most recent series my advice is simply to try either or both sets of drivers and see how you get on.
