"this horse I saw in its own small field looked completely alone in the world.
I had my 30D on tripod after a waterscape shoot but I decided to leave it down and get my infrared camera out as I felt this horses lonley story would tell its self in infrared"

For the sake of the story I decided to name the horse "Private Carrots"

How is it a confused horse?

It looks too much like a snapshot and I appreciate what it is you're trying to say with the image and it's process. Maybe the composition could have been a little more creative? I don't think the IR adds anything to the photograph and it doesn't emphasize the meaning behind the picture, it just comes across as a process used to make a boring subject look a little less boring.
