confused

Hey people, I really dont understand how my pc struggles so bad with games such as bioshock and where my xbox 360 runs it so nicely. Im sure spec wise my pc is better?

Intel core 2 duo e6600
7800 gtx 256mb
2gb ram

I would have thought ut3 would run nicely but im getting like 30 frames if im lucky. Im all updated driver wise etc, wots wrong? any ideas?

What resolution are you running at?

well the 360 is set at 1680 x 1050, no way can I achieve that on my pc, on ut3 i was running at 1024x1028 with high textures etc. Bioshock was about the same 1024x1028.
