Not much in practical terms, but I imagine their opinions are maybe consulted on editting/deleting/moderation decisions, by the other Dons etc.

I dont get it - what do you need to do to get what you have nokkon?

Also i never understood why some people have man of honor 2004,5 etc as their avatar. Is it given to someone who has contributed much to the ocuk community?

At the end of every year Spie picks about 4 people who he/others think have contributed to the community over that given year.

I was nominated by people in General Discussion which is both humbling and daunting, but definitely nice and appreciated.

Every year Spie (the owner) decides who deserves to be voted in as a man of honor, which is the award for not only being an excellent poster, but being helpful, kind and being a top person.

lol, I think that's the point of a forum. We all have different opinions on stuff, thankfully there are a lot of members here that know what they are talking about to bounce off of. I've always maintained that OcUK is the best british based games forum going because of it's excellent members and I'd definitely have you in that list.
 
The good thing having nokkon, he is died in the wool one of us, something lacking since davey pitch left, hopefully a full donship will come shortly. While the other mods do a good job and have been more pro active in this forum lately, its still a bit of a forgotten part of the forum.

Plus he can now help make McDaniel a man of honour come the new year with a bit of luck :)

Goto agree with the point about this forum, I read quite a few Gamespot, official Playstation one, IGN etc. All have far more rampant fan boyism, flaming, trolling and just nastyness and name calling than ive ever seen in this forum. Sure theres a few shall we say heated arguements but they never seem to get nasty or personal if it does there nearly always an apology forthcoming.
