Connect 2 laptops withought Usb 2 Usb?

Is there anyway to connect 2 laptops without a Usb to Usb cable or a network to network one?

For what purpose are you networking them?
There are better and worse methods depending on what you're doing and what connectivity options the laptops have.
Feasible direct peer to peer connections are:
Direct serial
Bluetooth
Wifi
USB
Firewire
Ethernet

Listed in order of bandwidth.

depending on how old they are (network controllers), you dont need a x-over cable, just a normal one will be fine.

Also, wifi has more bandwidth than bluetooth?

It was to be used for playing a game over LAN.

Definitely would suggest wired Ethernet for that. Wifi maybe but, wired is preferable.
Everything has a NIC in it now. If it doesn't you can get one for a tenner and that's all you need.

network cable to network cable. a lot of stuff now supports peer to peer connecting like that you used to have to get a crossover cable but not anymore
