Connecting a D500 to PC

Hi all

The wife has just had a Samsung D500. Ive got bluetooth on my PC and ive downloaded all the samsug software from the website, but the phone dosent seem to want to speak to the PC. The pc is fine as my 3230 is fine.

Anyone got thier D500 connected to the PC using bluetooth? The wife wants some MP3s putting on it.

Whats the best software to use?

You don't use the software from the Samsung website, just use whatever the bluetooth dongle came with or Windows. Nice and easy.

just stumbled on this thread five mins ago.
my old D500 connected flawlessly everytime with the MSI dongle i bought.
much better than trying to use the cable+software approach.

o o o i have a bluetooth thing for a wireless keyboard/mouse can i use that for phone? will it recognise it?

to be honest mate i couldn't say.
more likely than not the BT receiver you have is designed purely for the keyboard/mouse combo and not for data transfer, but hey you may as well give it a try and see if your phone will pick it up when scanning for other BT devices.
the BT dongle i bought was about £12 and it works 100% reliably so for that kinda cost you can't really complain.
there are cheaper models but i figured as the lesser brands were only £1-£2 cheaper it made more sense to stick to a well known manufacturer, MSI in my case.
