I have recently changed motherboards, from a P55 with USB 2.0 to a P67 with USB 3.0.

I have a card reader with a male USB 2.0 header (not USB plug) the type that fits into a female USB 2.0 header on your motherboard.

My new motherboard has 2 x USB internal headers, one USB 3.0 the other USB 2.0

I have used the USB 2.0 header to connect my cases USB 2.0 ports.

Is there any way I can connect my USB 2.0 card reader to an internal USB 3.0 female header?

Many thanks.

That's exactly what I am looking for, thanks.
However looking at the price of those it would make more sense to buy a new card reader with USB 3.0 ;)

I don't think there is a reply to that, other than it could very well be easier and cheaper.
