Having never done anything like this before, I'm flying blind a bit.

I have a washing machine which has what looks like an outlet hose for the water its finished with, however there is no inlet hose.

I have the following bits of plumbing/pipework: http://1drv.ms/1J3NpoV

I am assuming I can connect the cold to the washing machine, but how do I know what hose fits? Or is it universal?

Thanks

This may sound stupid to you, I am sure the bit that goes on the washing machine is universal, but what about the bit that connects to the faucet/cold water pipe...surely that isn't universal?....or is it?

The angled connector will fit on to the inlet on the machine and the straight through connector will go on to the cold water valve as it's a standard washing machine valve - http://www.screwfix.com/p/15mm-x-wa...g - Plumbing&gclid=CLzhseionMcCFYjLtAod0s4B2w

Is this a secondhand or a new machine? If it's new the inlet hose is in the drum if you care to open the door ;)
