I got my new HIS 7850 yesterday and I'm very pleased I have just bought a new 24" monitor as well which has 2 HMDI connections and the GFX card has one.

I tried the card first with my DVI connector to test the card then took it out and swapped for the HDMI one.

this seemed to work however on the settings my screen res is 1900*1080 but I have a 1" thick border round all 4 sides of the screen it's like it's in a picture frame.

I plug the DVI connector back in and everythings good again. I'd like to only use HDMI if possible though.

The reason being that since getting my new GFX card when playing games the speakers on the monitor buzz for some reason on desktop and even using ms office it's fine it's only during games. (even when I use headphones.)

HDMI is fine though.

you need to go into ccc display, then its somewhere under the heading scaling options,
You have a slider for underscan and overscan, once you have corrected the size, save and restart your pc, cos sometimes the settings don't sick.
