Hi,

I have 2 brand new F3s, and I want to RAID them.

I also have an SSD.

My motherboard is UD5

Now I have not installed the SSD yet because I want to configure the RAID array with the F3s first.

However one of them is a Slave in BIOS while the other is a master and they are on different channels.

I want them all as Master... so anyone knows which Sata ports in UD5 allow me to have the SSD, and the 2 F3s as Master.

Btw... the power cable that is connected to the hard drives is just one feeding both... is that ok?

Really need help!

Thanks

Thanks for the explanation...

one more question... I will now configure RAID.. is it ok if the SSD is connected but I do not choose it for the RAID array?

Thanks

Thanks, did just that...

Turned off hibernation, system restore set to 5% only, ran WEI to disable super fetch and defrag. Updates are running for Windows 7, I am installing the necessary drivers.

When I'm ready I will reconnect the HDDs in RAID 0 and transfer the documents, music and videos to there.

Btw I used AS SSD to benchmark

I think it looks good yes?

Thanks
