My question is, do i connect both the ATXPWR1 24 Pin and ATX12V1 8 pin connectors to the mobo, or just one of them? How about the ATX4P1 (auxiliary 12v power connector)?

thanks

by the way ... what temperature should be i expecting ? so that i that i can immediately turn off the pc if the temps are to high

Anywhere from 30-45 idle is normal. Anything under 65 under load is normal.

The chips, like nearly all nowadays, have thermal throttling so even if it was overheating it wouldn't cook itself.
