connecting to xbox cod4 from pc?

Is there any way to play agianst 360 Cod4 players from a vista machine? ive read somming about windows live but cant find where to get it or anything.

Any ideas?

There are games such as GOW that can cross platform with the windows live, games for windows feature and the use of a live account, unfortunatly COD4 doesnt carry the games for windows logo so it isnt included in this list.
Its quite a shame as id love to school some xbox owner in the art of FPS but it wont happen for us.

I don't believe GOW can be played cross platform. The first cross platform game was Shadowrun, which came out mid 2007. GOW was released late 2006.

Tis unfortunate though, playing against PC gamers on the 360 would be very interesting.

my bothers friend keeps bragging about how good he is, wanted to take him down a notch or too and show him how fps is really played

On another question then, can you hook up a keyboard and mouse to the 360 to use in cod?

I have one and its ok but not as responsive as using a k&m on a pc!

The only cross compatible PC/360 game is shadowrun and i found it rubbish. They basically had to deliberately handicap the PC players just to give the 360 players a chance - was rubbish playing a game knowing that it was purposefully decreasing your accuracy.

there just cheap solutions to the xbox not being a pc, and there not even that cheap!

Not for the 360 user. I have COD4 on PC & sexbox & anybody that even suggests there would be a contest would be laughed at by me. I honestly could not take anyoone seriously that thought that it would be a level playing field. It would be ridiculously easy for PC users & 360 users would Not play on PC/360 servers.

I meant interesting as in, it would be funny to see how much I'd get my ass kicked by PC gamers.

The only other cross platform game i know of is Universe At War (RTS), wouldnt mind checking it out myself.
