Connecting to Xbox Live problem.

Hi there

The other day i opened some ports on my router to allow me to connect to more parties etc. See thread here:

I now have a slight problem

Whenever i turn my xbox on i need to go to system settings > Network settings then test the connection. It connects fine then i return to the dashboard and sign in. This also happens if i get disconnected mid game. I have to go to system settings and repeat the process.

Does anybody have any guidance on how i can change this so it signs me in automatically when i turn my xbox on?

Have you looked at this site ?

Tells you exactly how to set your router up and has most models there.

Also have you set up a static IP on your 360?

All I can think of really.

yeah im getting the same issue just after port forwarding also i can only either get on or the other to be open as ive done the same for my ps3 any help would be cool!!!!!!
