Connection barbs with boiling water.

When connecting tubes to my barbs I have to apply A MASSIVE amount of force. While this clearly makes it secure I am worried I could crack some parts. Some people recommend dipping tubes in boiling water, while this will work will it not damage the tubes or make them too loose?

Nope, done this on few of my builds and not had any issues.

It softens the tube and also lubes the end, once it cools down it returns to normal.
