Heya,

Well it all started off yesterday when i formatted my computer and put xp pro corporate N on there.

On Monday i could connect to my ftp server throungh flashfxp & Putty fine and after the format it just gives me errors. Now i know that it is not the server as i can connect to that via other pc's fine through any program i like.

So the programs that do connect on this pc are Outlook and Internet Explorer (through webmin, Mail Manager, and normal sites that are hosted on there.)

The error log for flashfxp is just
WinSock 2.0 -- OpenSSL 0.9.8g 19 Oct 2007
[R] Connecting to My Server -> IP=91.121.xxx.xxx PORT=36987
[R] Connection failed (Connection refused)
And Putty just asks me for the username so i type in root and then the password (which i know is right as i can type it in the same from another pc) and it just says wrong password.

I have come to the conclusion that the problem is with this pc. Any ideas on any more problems or how to fix it.

And if you need any more information then just ask.

well that was my first port of call....
what workgroup is the new pc using?...just a strange one but I've had that cause problems before...

OKay.

Just tried another ftp site i have and it worked fine but that one is not using ssl.

The one im having trouble with is using ssl.

I wouldn't of thought so as the key works on other pc's.

OK i have fixed it there was a slight ssl mismatch.
