Hi all,
After a few problems I finally managed to get my new built pc up and running, only to have troubles connecting to the internet. These are the parts I have put together:
Asus Vintage V3-M3N8200 Barebones System - AMD64
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5200 2.70GHz (Socket AM2)
Western Digital Caviar Blue 160GB SATA-II 8MB Cache
OCZ Platinum Revision 2 XTC 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 Dual Channel Series

Basically, I've just uploaded Windows XP and went into the 'setup connections' bit on the control panel. I was expecting to see the Broadband connection there already, but there's nothing, it hasnt seemed have recognised the LAN connection.
I'm sort of new to all this, so I'm not sure if it's because I have the wrong parts or just a fault or whatever. So any help would be great.
Thanks.

Go to device manager and see if your network card is there, it might be listed as other device and will need the driver installed. The driver can be taken from the CD that came with the mobo or from the manufacturers website.
