I have just connect my laptop to my pc by cable.
I have disabled the wireless.
All I get is local connection.
I can access my files on the laptop from my pc and vice verser.
I can not get the internet on my laptop.
I can if I enable the wireless.
All I want is to be able to access my files and internet on the laptop whilst on cable.
What am I doing wrong?
I am using Vista home premium on my laptop and vista ultimate on my pc.
I am on virgin for broad band via a linksy wireless router.
The network cable is connected to my laptop via my second network card on my pc (I have a dfi lanparty board and comes with two network cards/ports built in).
