Connection Timeouts

Every half an hour, seemingly on the half-hour/hour mark, my internet stops working entirely, but just mine, not my parents, who are connected through the same router.

Which leads me to believe that some program has gotten inside my computer, a nasty one of course.

Any ideas?

1mb ADSL w/ BT Yahoo, the router is a Mentor one, i'm not sure of the model at all, I didn't buy it.

Surely if it were my connection/router, the other comp would be affected too?
