Connection woes

My connection has been fine until recently. I lost connection last week, so called Eclipse and after a few tests they sent a fault report with BT.

Suddenly I got the connection back and was ok all week but got a new router to make sure, but found it wouldn't connect to Gmail. After tinkering with it, Gmail worked, then MSN, hotmail or microsoft sites stopped working! Put old Netgear router back and been fine for a few days, but now I lost connection again, so tried the new router again.
That worked ok except it wouildn't connect to any Microsoft sites and MSN and hotmail wouldn't connect either.

So put old router back in and it connects ok now, but again unable to access MSN etc.

I've formatted and reinstalled XP, changed filters. It's a wired connection.

Anyone help please?

Eclipse is all over the place last few days so it might not be anything to do with your hardware tbh,ive had similar problems some websites worked and others didnt they have now started to work but now i have dog slow internet ,random disconnections and not far from thinking about other isps.....
