What coolers are you using, and on what motherboards, with what CPU's please? Oh yeah, what case as well please?

Looking at the CNPS9500 so far...

I'm going to be using a E6600 and overclocking it.

It's going to sit on a DS4, in an Antec P180, but I want to make sure what I get will fit, and will keep it cool.

Thanks

Oooh, Identical to my planned build apart from the board...

I'd be interested to hear opinions as well. Are you going for a quiet system what with the P180 and all?

Well that would be nice, but performance is chiefly what i'm after

The 9500 is doing me well on my DS4, nice and quiet with some great temperatures as well. With it on silent im getting 35C idle, 45 load, and thats with it on half power.

Oh and this is an overclocked e6300 @ 2.5

As I said in another thread earlier today, I have my e6600 at stock volts with an fsb of 333mhz (ie running at 3ghz), fsb:dram ratio set to 4:5 (2gb corsair c4 ddr2 800 running at c5 833). (vdimm set to 2.1v as suggested by the corsair website)
I have a p5w dh deluxe with the 801 bios, a p180b case - all 3 fans installed and running on low, an x1800xt with an artic cooling accelero cooler fitted and a scythe ninja plus with the fan installed.
It is bearly audible above room noise.
After 9hrs of dual prime tha mobo temp was 50c, the cpu was 52-53c

Not an extreme o/c i know, but I think that is pretty good for a very quiet machine and it is phenomenally fast compared with the celey 2.53ghz i had sitting in there until friday. superpi is 16s

Lapped Tuniq Tower here :)

Ninja's prob next best thing though

EDIT: also P180 + P5W DH

I agree with this man.
I was using a X6800 @ 3.3 with a Vapochill Micro Extreme (DFI Infinity Board) and I was getting IDLE temps of about 38-45 depending on the room and if the other pc's are on. (I'd get 32 in an airconned room).

On friday I received my Tuniq Tower, installed it, very nice a secure, the weight made me worried but it sits nice and tight.

I'm getting LOAD temps of 47 on the same speed, so now i'm able to get to 3.65ghz/3.7ghz (Still tweaking).

Still trying to find the right minimum voltages and all that, getting it stable without having to pump so much through that it's also a cooker-hotplate. >_<

But yes, tuniq tower if you can source one has had some great reviews and i'm, happy with it.
(Just....get some other thermal compound, the one supplied is a pain to apply, so I used AS5.)

Exact same spec and speed - temps are slightly lower as I have the fans on medium

Scythe Ninja with a 120mm 1600rpm fan motherboard Giga DS_3
cpu X6800 @ 3.3GHz temps 30c idle and 36-38 load still testing.

Stock Intel CPU cooler that came with the 6600.

Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 LGA775 @ 3.2GHz :)

P5W DH Motherboard.
