Looking to do a bit of overclocking but not gonna go crazy.
Questions:
1. PSU
a. Is it quiet?
b. Will the cables reach ok in the PC-101?
c. Is there a better modular one for the money that would suit?
2. HS
a. Will it fit in the case?
b. It looks enormous, does it need any extra bracing or can the mobo comfortably take the weight of it?
c. Is it quiet?
d. Better than the ninja?
3. Mobo
a. Does it overclock ok? I remember intel boards never used to have any options for this?
b. Is the ram compatible?
c. Got an audigy 4, hauppage DigiTV and netgear wifi I want to bring across but there are only 2 pci slots... is the onboard sound gonna be a drop in quality if I ditch the audio? Might have to go wired if so...
4. Gfx
a. If I ever want to go crossfire at some point, will the 500w PSU cope?
b. Can I keep both PCI cards in there with dual gfx?
c. Will I be ok in native res for most games? (1600x1050 - NEC 20WGX2)
5. HDD
a. I could bring over 2x 36Gb raptors (raid 0) but they're noisy little bleeders and I want this build to be quiet, will I suffer a massive drop in performance?
b. Don't need loads of storage cause my current PC is converting to a fileserver.
6. Misc
a. Any other issues I should know about?
