Pure speculation of course but I think the only reason these boards are NOT Sli compatable from a official driver perspective is because Nvidia want you to buy their Nforce boards thus making more money?
I wonder how these things work from the business side of things? Maybe Intel paid some rights to aquire crossfire compatability for there chipsets? Nvidia didnt want to? or maybe Intel was only interested in supporting ATI?
It seems abit strange that with hacked drivers Sli can be used but not supported officially, what do you guys think?
