The point I'm trying to make (and it would seem failing ) is that the AB9's are much more limited in terms of max FSB than the likes of the P5B or DS3.
It took a LOT of work to get this AB9 up to 512 FSB, whereas the P5B ran to 525 with ease. The AB9 took a significant vMCH increase to get to 512 too, much more than is probably safe
The 1066 strap run on the AB9 hinders the max FSB overclock of the boards which is oh so important for the lower multi chips like the 6300 and 6400. Basically they overclock like the 975 boards do......
