The price was already too good to be true. The original ad on gumtree didn't specify that it was cat d - though the seller confirmed when I asked him the 'usual questions' directly? He was not forthcoming about the legal ownership status of the vehicle, though I had asked him this in the same SMS as a bunch of other questions which to be fair he did answer some of. I'm not against cat d per se, just want to know what I'm getting in to...
He gave his location initially as a vague area the other side of the city, but on trying to set up a viewing of the car he is now insisting that he will come to me.
Am I right in just walking away from this right now, so I can focus my car purchase efforts elsewhere?
"If it's too good to be true..." :/
