Considering buying an IPS and a Freesync monitor

I was dead set on buying the XL2730Z but I'm concerned about missing out on IPS.

Would buying the U2515H and the XL2730Z be a good decision?

I'm thinking playing certain types of games on each - Tomb Raider / Fallout 4 etc on the Dell IPS - and games like Rainbow Six Siege / Project Cars on the XL2730Z.

I don't want to miss out on IPS or Freesync/144hz but I can't find a monitor that does all three well. The MG279Q doesn't have a good enough Hz range (for me) and the QC issues seem worrying.

Note: I have just bought an 290X so I'm not considering Gsync at the moment. But I am planning to upgrade the GPU again next year to hopefully reach 120Hz/144Hz on 1440p.

I have the U2515H and it's a very nice monitor, you sometimes have to play around with the game settings to stop tearing issues but usually it's fine for playing games although I have never had a monitor that does over 60hz so probably don't know what I'm missing. If you have the desk space and money for both monitors then I don't see why you can't spoil yourself, a nice Christmas present :D

My week old XL2730Z knocks spots off my old Iiyama PLE2403WS, I would have loved to have bought a 21:9 ratio monitor, but it seems like buying an IPS panel is rolling the dice as regards issues such as back light bleed.

Is It? I remember Baddass or PCM2 saying that it wasn't. But that was a while ago. Found the quote.

I hate to burst everyone's bubble but Eizo have told me that as it stands at the moment they are not planning to Launch this model in the UK. I've asked them to reconsider and requested a review sample which is expected over the coming months. It will be available to order via Europe I believe unless Eizo change their stance on UK supply

Ah, nevermind, I have just seen another thread saying that it will be coming in January.
