Morning Ladies :D

Im looking at getting crysis for my PC. I have no worries that my PC will play it, but what i want to know is:

If i just got the normal/first game, will i be missing anything than if i bought the 'maximum edition'? the main thing persuading me is the first edition is £9 and maximum about £25!

Cheers, Tom

Cheers for the replies guys!

And thank you very much for the link chaparral!! Play and Amazon can do many things to my unmentionables!

Your paltry 2gb memory and 8800GTX won't cut it at all though. You're better off getting a different game that you may be interested in.

Get 2Gb more ram and it'll be fine with a custom cfg.

Played Warhead great on my 8800GTS with 4Gb ram with a custom cfg (looked better than 'high' and ran better).

well im currently looking to upgrade my ram, just trying to find a good price :D

and i have no doubts of how my 8800GTX will perform

played all COD games fine all run on high. I know crysis will be more demanding, but i trust my PC :)

as soon as i get it, settings will be put to high and 1920x1200 :D

fair enough

im still going to try it though :D not because i don't believe you, I do.. just may as well see the limits of the system

It will run most/all settings on high provided u dont use AA. Adding 2GB ram would certainly help and OC the CPU to 3GHz+

A certain Jersey based etailer has Crysis: Maximum Edition In Stock at £24.99.

For me, I can run at 1920x1080 with full everything except Anti Aliasing, which anything over 2x just becomes a lagging nuisance. But I really didn't notice much of a difference between None and 2x especially considering the lovely motion blur, so I just run none because I get guaranteed 60fps all the time

I no belive that....

as even my SLI GTX 275 setup cannot run crysis with full detail settings anywhere near a guaranteed 60fps

OcUK Crysis 1680x1050 VERY HIGH Settings Top List
