Hi all,

We haven't had had a thread like this for a good few years but thought it would be nice for the community to bring it back this year.

It's been a good year for games released on Consoles and there isn't a better place to discuss them than on OCUK with you guys.

Give yourself a pat on the back for making Consoles what it is today with some great banter, feedback, criticism, help on all things consoles.

I have actually copied this from the last thread started by da_mic regarding awards (2008) so thought I'd keep it in the same standard, if anyone wants another category, let me know.

In a year which promised so much yet delivered so little(imo), I'd have to say Skyrim(even though I sold the PS3 version and bought the PC version!).

tough one but i say my fav game - so far that i've played, has to be mortal kombat. i have yet to work my eay through my back cateloge which now incs batman arkham city, AC revelations, duke nukem and a few others.

Best game has got to be Skyrim, it's unreal.

Biggest disappointment is War in the North, it could easily have come from 2006, so basic, so rubbish.

Hmm, I'll answer this after I've paid more attention for a week or so. As to be honest, I'm only jumping in and out of this section lately. I used to spam the hell out of consoles at one point
