Console games that should be remade!!

Same, I'd love to see more 2D platformers in the style of LBP, Mario\Sonic done with LBP-ish graphics would be fantastic

The graphics in LBP where great, though I didnt see what the fuss was regarding the gameplay the pace felt too slow for me. The mapmaking features and user content was cool though.

Road Rash
Superfrog
Desert Strike.

Still got these for my working Amiga Commodore 1200, complete with 400MB hard drive and Workbench 3.0 installed :D

Superfrog! man that was cool! haha!

Toejam and earl waas real good, but i prefered the sequel. .panic on funkatron (was a side scrolling platformer)

I cant belive no one has mentioned Vagrant story, that game was just sooo good, think i had 2 copies of it, 1 when i had my ps1 then another when i got my ps2, there was talk years ago about a sequel for the ps2 but it never happened.

Some good games mentioned in here...

Desert/Jungle Strike series
Road Rash series
Wonder Boy series
Final Fantasy VII
Vandal Hearts (Final Fantasy Tactics is almost identical)

One not mentioned I'd love to see is Paradroid from the CBM64

I dont like these threads as they get me too excited :( :p

1. Xenogears <== by the grace of God PLEASE let it be so!
2. Final Fantasy VII
3. Breath of Fire III

A man with great taste! Mainly FF7 for me though. Still my fave game of all time.

Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret Of Mana 2, which I shall not discuss how I obtained.)
Final Fantasy VI
Resident Evil 2 with the resident evil 5 engine
Dino Crisis 1 & 2
Parasite Eve

used to love games mentioned

desert jungle urban strike (was there 1 called nuclear strke too or was it a rumor)
road rash
and rogue squadron

Magic Carpet - begging for a remake, it was too ahead of it's time i felt. The pc's and tech of the time couldn't do it justice

Elite - Hopefully Elite 4 will live up to my dream (seamlessly land on planets)

X-Wing/Tie-Fighter - X-Wing alliance was a step in the right direction, but just imainge what they can do with the grahics now!!!!!!
