Console Help

I'm looking to get a PS3, what with BF3 looking so awesome and COD MF4 just around the corner.

I have a Samsung UE27D5000 -> http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/led-tv/UE27D5000NWXXU?

Do PS3's come with HDMI cables in the box? Doesn't look like but couldn't tell.

Do they come with audio cables, or does the HDMI cable also carry audio?

Would greatly appreciate some recommendations for either if I need the buy them separately.

HDMI carries audio.

I have no idea if they come in the box though...to have a wild guess, I'd say no being Sony

The HDMI carries the audio (there is also optical output and standard stereo if you needed it) but a HDMI cable is not included with consoles these days - no great problem though as you can get one for a couple of £'s.

Looks ridiculous. Not sure where I'll find the time to play all these games though.

Hiya, I can confirm PS3 doesn't come with a HDMI cable.

You can find some in a popular forest e tailer for about £5 or less thou.

Nah, you'll find the time.. Grab Uncharted 1 and 2 first, seriously don't limit yourself on this series. Play the first two before the third as they are all excellent games, if nothing else play 2 before 3 as 2 is epic and better graphically with less torn frames then the first one. Uncharted 1 had some screen tearing whereas uncharted 2 didn't.

Enjoy your PS3 hope you have fun with it.

You shouldn't need to spend any more than £2.50 per metre of HDMI cable, and should be able to get it for substantially less than that if you're getting a particularly long one.
