Hi there,

I'm just looking for a bit of advice. I've been an xbox/playstation player all my days, got all the consoles but want to get into gaming pc's, I've seen a pcs for sale near me and was just wondering if it's good for a beginner and good for games like bodycam/delta force/kingmakers just some of the games I'm looking to play. The spec is -

Predator Orion 3000 (PO3-650) Gaming PC: Perfect condition with original box & glass panel OS - Windows 11 GPU - Geforce RTX 4070 CPU - Intel Core I7 13700F (16 Cores) RAM - 16GB STORAGE - 1 TB NVME M.2 & 2 TB HDD COOLING - NOCTUA NH-U9S (CPU fan) & NOCTUA NF-A9 (Exhaust fan) pre-installed + original front & GPU fans

Thanks for any help!

Nah avoid those machines trust me lol

The spec is good, I'm presuming hornetstinger is probably talking about the quality of the parts, rather than the spec?

Thanks again. I'm not a serious gamer, just the weekends when I get a chance. Been playing ps5 but there's not much choice for games these days, that's why I'm thing of getting a pc, much more choice

Thanks for that. Any sites you would recommend to have a look at for a pc? Also, just had a quick look, is the GeForce RTX 3090 good for 8k

Understandable, but the problem is having a 8K TV, to drive at that native, or use scaling will require high end PC

Might actually be better (and cheaper) to buy a 1440p monitor, you'll get better framerates. Watch this
