I'm just curious about this. Some people have multiple consoles dying on them while others don't experience any problems, ever.
I have had a Sega Megadrive, PS1, 3 PS2's and two Xbox 360's (swapped for other reasons) and a PS3 and I generally treat my consoles like crap. They are on for days on pause and are not really placed in a good spot when it comes to ventilation and are usually covered in dust. But I have never had one die on me.
So what I'm wondering is:
Have you had a console(s) YLOD/RROD, and if so then how do you treat them and where are they stored?

My Elite going strong!
), I've only had an Xbox 360 red ring on me, and that was fixed under Microsoft warranty. And I generally treat my stuff well, and sort of dust them now and then
