Hi all,

I dont know if this is the in the right section, but anyway.

On Thursday, I booted up my machine as usual, but all my programs ran really slow, chrom stopped, steam stopped responding, explorer.exe stopped a few times and then I got BSOD after about 20 minutes. (I'll upload the dump file when i get home). It was something to do with 'process or thread crucial...'. The only thing I downloaded for a while was the terraria update on the Wednesday and since then ive had nothing but trouble.

For a few weeks ive had chkdsk pop up after the windows logo on bootup, saying my D drive needs to be checked for consistency, the first time I allowed it to check, but it BSOD at the end of the check, so ive ignored chkdks since. I gathered the BSOD i was getting within windows was due to the D drive (2tb WD Caviar), so on Friday I moved everything from my D drive to my E drive (1tb Hitachi), and formatted my D drive as well as my C drive (60gb OCZ Agility 3). Reinstalled windows and gathered everything would be fine, but after 20 mins or so, it BSOD again. 'process or thread crucial...' (i'll explain better whn i get home). So i rebooted and got another BSOD about 5 minutes after boot up, this time it said 'uncorrectable hardware error', and so I have gone no further. I know its not overheating as my system is completely liquid cooled, Video card and cpu etc.

Any help will be appreciated. As i said, i will upload the dump files when i get home if it doesnt die, thanks

Possibly RAM, but as soon as I read "OCZ Agility 3" I cringed. Lets see what your dump files look like, but I'd try cloning the SSD over to a spare HDD to see if it resolves your stability issues.

And don't go thinking that just because you have liquid cooling that your temps are fine, actually monitor them as well. Or its like saying "But it must be true because the News of the World says it is!" ;)

hi again,

Is it the .DMP file you want?, ive never done this before, bit of a noob at this, thanks.

Also, im running mem test as my motherboard (ASUS Rampage 3 gene) showed a red error light next to DRAM after the last BSOD, so its pointing to that.
