Hello all,
I recently upgraded my computer, specs detailed below;
*Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP
*CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K 3.40GHz
GFX: Gigabyte GTX670
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB
PSU: Coolermaster 600w
The parts marked with an * are the components that are new.
Every since I did the upgrade I've had nothing but problems, mostly to do with crashes in game and also random BSOD's. These problems are intermittent and I've done quite a lot to try and rectify the issue.
For starters, my CPU is running quite hot with it's stock cooler, so I've brought a new one (Hyper evo 212) to see if that will do the trick. On idle the CPU is around 40c-50c, and depending on what game I'm playing can go up-to 80c. I've also had a couple of BSOD's related to this error;
I haven't had a BSOD for a couple of days, but according to event viewer that same error has occurred once today and that was around the time my game crashed.
Can anyone assist me with this? I hate it when PC's act up like this.
