Construction/Sustainability Dissertation - Questionnaire Help

Hi there,

I am currently in the process of writing a dissertation on the implications the 2016 Zero Carbon Homes target will have upon the construction industry.

If there any construction professionals out there who could spare just a few moments to have a look at my questionnaire, and if possible fill it out, I would be hugely grateful.

I've been doing SAPs calculations in my office for the energy efficiency of buildings for the past 7 years so I'm fully up to speed with what your dissertation is all about. Shame when i was at uni i ran out of words on Straw Bale Construction :rolleyes: Ah well, coming away with a degree hasn't hampered my career!
 
Oh right, that was actually my second choice, basing my dissertation around the 2018 changes to Part L, and the new minimum EPC rating for commercial property... Definitely an interesting and up-and-coming area!

Does your uni library have a subscription to the NCE (or even better online one)? There are sometimes articles on carbon targets etc. I had to brush up a few months ago befor going for chartership review. I have some reading material but probably not as specific as your topic.

any chance you could email that dissertation or provide a link to it?

Straw bale / wood frame is something I am very interested in down the line and would be very keen to have a read, see how much I understand :)

Sadly my dissertation never saw the light of day. And from memory the only place it was saved was on a zip disk (remember those! :eek:) and I've no way of getting it off there
