Graphics are very good considering it was built on the source engine, obviously with some tweaks. My fps went through the roof running a 2500K @ 4.2 with a non OC 750. That was everything at mas running at 1080. So no problem at all maintaining a good FPS.
Gameplay is quite reminiscent of L4D etc, the game modes are basically escape, hunt PvP and rescue and hold..
The scape map through the Police station is the pick of the bunch for me, very atmospheric, the first time playing through on single player reminded me of the first few releases of Dayz before it became mainstream. The tension is there, the noises and the randomness of the situation to a certain extent are the same.
The rescue missions are very well done for COOP, team play and using voice is a must to be able to hold out until your are rescued with your NPCs that you have rescued. All houses etc that I have tried are all enter-able, so plenty of options for different gameplay each time you play.
Hunt mode is PvP, basically last man standing is the winner. With the twist that when you die, you become a Z and can attack other live players, use you roar to call a zombie horde for mass munching
All in all, a recommended purchase.
