Contemplating a new PC but it has to be very quiet

I had a look at cases on a few sites, like the look of these but I've never had either of them as I've ALWAYS had a Lian-Li:

I like them as they look nice and both offer a lot of expansion, the P180 that's be suggested looks very much a "big black box" which was more or less how my Lianli looked (P60 - big silver case!)

Any suggestions? anyone got/used one of these?

must admit I like the black one, which is unusual for me. silver is a bit 60s looking.

I could just start wearing a medallion ;)
 
Does it have to be realy quiet in the living room though? Generally if the TV is on the sound of fans will be easily lost.

Now if it was in my bedroom and a 24/7 download machine I would want it as quiet as humanly possible.
 
I've given up on the silent thing, mate talked sense into me with the whole "yeah silent in your living room, is that so it doesnt disturb all of us drunkards on the sofa screaming abuse at the Xbox 360?" :(
 
More or less settled for the:
