Continuous beeps on boot

Hi Guys,

As with the title, i have put together a htpc with the below motherboard but it wont boot, i have tried to find out what these beeps would represent but there is a lot of conflicting info online, has anyone had this before and could possibly point me in the right direction please?

Abit AN-M2HD -Socket AM2 Digital Home Motherboard

Are the beeps long or short?

If they are short then i have found it is a problem with the CPU fan, either not plugged in to the motherboard header or not spinning full stop.
Long beeps then that could be down to the RAM not being seated correctly or there is a faulty stick.

Thanks for your reply, i posted this in the general hardware section too and had a reply, sounds like its the memory causing the issue

Are you using the onboard graphics or a graphics card?

If using a graphics card, make sure you have the external power connectors plugged in to it.
