My PAYG mobile broke today and I've decided to look at a contract phone as my phone was quite old and I probably pay enough to warrant it. But I'm a bit naive about mobile contracts and don't want to get caught out by the small print.

The forum sticky recommends onestopphoneshop.co.uk and I found these two offers:

http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/mobile-phones/motorola/l6cl/o2/e3012july

Now they both seem really good for me at they provide enough mins/texts and £1.99 a month looks like a great bargain! But is there anything I should be aware of? I know they are Clearance items and therefore refurbished but I can't help thinking there's a catch?

Its a cashback offer. You will be paying £30 per month, but they will credit you ASSUMING you claim every 2 months. Plus, there will be a couple of hidden costs in there too. Read the Link they provide about the redemption offer.

Make sure you follow the rules to the letter, they will do anything to not pay out generally :)
Its the old adage of too good to be true, but sometimes these are true... :D You should be alright but just make sure you read *exactly* what you're meant to do...
