When you get an upgrade phone these days, are you locked in for the duration of the time to the particular tariff or can you simply change it out?
Reason behind the question:
So I still have an English phone line even though I live in the States, mainly use it for texting and staying in contact here and there (no phone calls really) and when I am actually in England. But this is an old Samsung phone and I am long overdue an upgrade. Figured I could get a new phone and sell it, but would need to be then lowered to the cheapest tariff available, not sure if you can do that these days with the smart phones?
Any ideas?
